Due to COVID-19, I am not going to be rendering my handywoman services for the near future. I work full time for Harborlight Community Partners and maintain 2 properties that house nearly 200 low income elderly residents. I need to keep them safe, which means I need to stay healthy.
I look forward to helping you out on the other side of this outbreak.
Amy had a bad leak in her kitchen ceiling. It turned out that her old toilet had been leaking for years. I had to cut out around the old toilet flange and then rebuild with new foundation, always making sure the new build was the same height as the existing floor.
Because Amy's bathroom linoleum flooring dated back to the 50's/60's I recommended putting in some vinyl plank flooring as an upgrade. She was planning on this anyway and, since the toilet was already out, it was a perfect time to get it all done at once. I really like this new vinyl plank flooring and have worked with it on several job sites.
Amy bought all the supplies and even ran "go-fer" errands for me while working this job; as such she saved her self a lot of money. My time is money.
$200 Labor. Supplies + new toilet provided by Amy with my recommendations.
The Gloucester Schooner Festival is one of my favorite events of the year. I love seeing the inner harbor full of sails and beautiful boats. Today I was able to enjoy them up close on my friend's boat.
I power-washed this fabulous table for my client and then came back the next day with some Teak Oil - it has UV protectio).
I can't make weathered Teak look new, just "new-ish."
It's like a dry old foot that needs to be washed/crubbed and moisturized very well.
I left the half full bottle of Teak Oil so she could keep up the care on her own.
