Child Proofing Nana's Place

June hired me about how to child proof her hardwood staircase because her 7mo and 8mo grandchildren were coming for an extended stay in a few weeks. We brainstormed ideas and came up with an expandable gate design which she found online. June did not want a tension rod based baby gate or pet gate model. She also wanted a gate that could swing and be removed easily.
